At the Wheelwright Post we have a number of different accommodation units. We currently have the following available to stay in:
The Post Office.
Sleeps up to 2 people.
Attached to the main house, the Post Office apartment began life as the Burgate Village Post Office in the 1830s.
The apartment has a separate fully equipped kitchen, an ensuite shower room and lovely views of the gardens.
With bags of character, the Post Office is perfect for couples.
The Hideaway.
Sleeps up to 4 people.
Nestled in the corner of the garden furthest from the main house, yet with a drive to its front door, the detached one bedroom bungalow is suitable for couples or families with younger children.
The bedroom has plenty of room for a cot (no extra charge) as well as its double bed and the lounge has a new double sofa bed. The bungalow has a kitchen diner and a fully equipped bathroom.
Constructed of tongue and groove pine both inside and out, the bungalow has a warm and welcoming feel and a peaceful setting.
Walnut Tree Cottage.
Sleeps up to 4 people.
Walnut Tree Cottage is a delightful, detached thatched cottage, providing an ideal opportunity a couple or guests wishing to holiday together whilst retaining their own space.
Walnut Tree Cottage comprises a shower room and kitchen/dining area downstairs, and an upstairs living area and sofa bed suitable for children, leading to a double bedroom. It has plentiful beams and wooden floors.
